2. Hotels compete to impress you: each matching hotel reads your request and crafts an offer just for you — rate, perks, upgrades, inclusions.
3. Compare and book direct: pick the offer that speaks to you and book directly with the hotel. No added fees, no middleman between you and your host.

The successor to name-your-own-price

If you used Priceline's Name Your Own Price, apéro is the modern version of that idea — without the blind bidding. You see every hotel's name, price, and inclusions before you decide. Hotels bid for your booking with their best offer; you pick the winner.

For hotels

apéro sends hotels qualified travelers who have already declared their budget and what they want. Commission is 10% on confirmed bookings — versus 18-30% on typical OTAs — guests pay the hotel directly, and the hotel owns the guest relationship.
